Reolink comes after launch. Its own API gives Rikuy frames and recorded search, and wired or plug-in Wi-Fi cameras also speak RTSP and ONVIF.

How Rikuy talks to it.

Reolink's api.cgi uses a token login, then Search to find recordings and Snap for a frame. RTSP and ONVIF are turned on from the Reolink app.

The Bridge sits on the store network and calls these on the recorder. Nothing reaches the recorder from the internet.

What to turn on in the recorder

  1. 1
Create a user for RikuyA user with view rights only. Its password stays encrypted on the Bridge.
  2. 2
Turn on RTSP and ONVIFIn the Reolink app, under network settings for each recorder or camera.
  3. 3
Keep the recorder on the store networkThe Bridge finds it there. Nothing is opened to the internet.

During the private demo we do this with you on a video call. It takes about ten minutes.

Known limits, said plainly.
