A user just for Rikuy
Create a low-privilege user on the recorder. Its password is encrypted on the Bridge and never travels or sits in plain text.
Rikuy talks to the recorder you already have, on your store's own network, through the Rikuy Bridge. No new cameras, no ports to open on your router. We check your model before you pay.

RTSP cameras: live view only
Pick the brand on your recorder and type the model from its label. Your agent can do the same check for you with one call.
Not sure? Send your agent a photo of the label, or ask it to run check_cameras.
Hikvision recorders
We confirm before you pay. During the private demo we check every recorder with you on a call.

Hikvision and Dahua make about a third of the world's cameras and build for many other labels. One driver covers a whole family.

Reolink battery cameras only stream through Reolink's Home Hub. Models are tested in our lab, starting with a used Hikvision NVR and a used Dahua DVR; each brand page lists what we are testing.

Turn on ISAPI and RTSP on Hikvision, or CGI and RTSP on Dahua. ONVIF users come off by default on both; the setup guide shows where.
Switch off "smart" codecs like H.264+ so recorded clips cut cleanly. Everything else on your recorder stays as it is.
